NEW PRESENTATION PAVILION PROJECT LAUNCH

this exciting new project during the 2017 Field Days at
2.00 PM FRIDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER 2017
LOCATION - SITE 438 – FOURTH AVENUE [near Food Court 5 ]
The project is jointly funded by the Commonwealth Government’s Building Better Regions Fund and the Riverland Field Days
The new Presentation Pavilion will provide an air conditioned and acoustically treated auditorium, offering an excellent venue for events with:- Seating for up to 300 in a theatre style; or for 200 seated at tables
It will have facilities and equipment for a wide range of events including:
• Presentations with data projection equipment
• Community, regional and national conventions and car rallies
• Festivals and concerts
• Anniversaries and celebrations
• Kitchen for cooking demonstrations and catering services
• Nutrition & lifestyle promotion
• An amenities block
This building will add to the extensive facilities and opportunities for both large and small events and activities already provided at the Riverland Exhibition & Events Centre.

‘Early Bird’ gate entry tickets are now on sale at the following centres and outlets:-
The ‘Early Bird’ price is $12.00 – a saving of $3.00 on the Gate Price of $15.00.
Students under 18 and children under 16 are free.
We see this as great value”, Tim Grieger, Field Days Executive Manager, said.
“By providing ‘Early Bird’ tickets at a much reduced price, there is a real saving in purchasing tickets before the field days”.
‘Early Bird’ tickets are available from these centres up to close of business on the Thursday before the field days.

2017 Celebrity Chef is Genevieve Harris
Chef Genevieve Harris started her working life as a school teacher, all the while cooking furiously for friends and family, honing her skills in the kitchen. She then embarked on a career in hospitality that began at the Grey Masts restaurant in Robe on the Limestone Coast in South Australia.
She has spent the best part of 30 years involved in hospitality, with the positions of Executive Chef at the luxurious Amankila resort in Bali, The Bathers Pavilion Restaurant at Balmoral beach in Sydney, Executive Chef with Pernod Ricard, Jacob’s Creek winery in the Barossa and owning her own restaurant, Nediz, back here in Adelaide featuring as highlights in her career so far.
She also enjoys passing on her vast knowledge to aspiring cooks at the Sticky Rice cooking school in the Adelaide Hills.

His Excellency The Governor of SA to visit the Field Days
His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC Governor of South Australia and Mrs Lan Le will visit the 2017 Riverland Field Days in September.
“We are honoured to welcome the Governor and Mrs Le to the 2017 fields days, Chairman, James Butler said. “it will be of special significance as we celebrate the 60th Riverland Field Days” , he said.
The Governor and Mrs Le will attend on the Friday when His Excellency will give a welcome speech and meets guests at a special lunch.
